2025年8月11日，纽约联合国总部8号会议厅，一场以“艺术激发和平与希望”（Art Inspiring Peace and Hope）为主题的文化论坛与艺术展览隆重举行。本次活动由UCT国际文化发展中心与基里巴斯常驻纽约联合国代表团共同主办，UCT中心、世界和平幸福房地产等机构协办，汇聚外交界、文化艺术界、教育界及国际媒体嘉宾与青年学子，共同见证艺术与和平的交融。
活动在多国学生与艺术家齐声合唱和平主题曲中拉开序幕，歌声回荡在联合国会场，点燃热烈氛围。UCT文化中心主席李依凌女士宣布活动正式开始。
基里巴斯常驻联合国副大使Josephine Moote在致辞中指出，在联合国成立80周年之际，举行李国栋教授108米《联合国宪章》书法长卷展示、《和平使者陈香梅》纪录片启动仪式以及李依凌女士诗集发布，旨在强调教育的重要性、青年肩负的责任与艺术跨越国界的和平力量。她呼吁大家共同描绘理解、和平正义与希望的未来。紧随其后的环节，向来宾介绍了基里巴斯独具特色的艺术展品。
随后，柬埔寨常驻联合国副大使Tithiarun Mao发言，强调柬埔寨是热爱和平的国家，文化交流能够消弭隔阂、促进理解，为持久和平奠定基础。
在热烈掌声中，两项文化成果剪彩启动：《和平使者陈香梅》纪录片启动仪式，以及李依凌诗集《幸福和平的诗》发布会。纪录片由赵坚女士担任总制作，李依凌现场代表赵坚女士及创作团队介绍纪录片的创作理念与跨文化和平价值；诗集则以温暖诗句传递幸福与和平。学生代表们共同朗诵《致敬联合国宪章》的诗歌及多首李依凌诗集中的原创诗，引发全场共鸣。
联合国经济与社会事务部可持续发展司（UNDESA/DSDG）代表Sami Areikat在发言中高度肯定此次活动对推动联合国可持续发展目标、促进文化多样性与和平教育的贡献。青年代表环节中，石溪大学的Emmanuel Etaat与史岱文森高中的Caleb Lee，分别代表大学生与高中生，呼吁青年积极投身全球治理与文化交流。
在音乐家李崇峻创作的恢弘乐曲《致敬联合国宪章》中，书法家李国栋教授创作的108米书法长卷缓缓展开，书法与音乐交织，将现场氛围推向顶峰。这一庄严时刻为本次圆桌论坛画上圆满句号，也为即将到来的联合国大会奏响序曲。
与会嘉宾一致认为，这不仅是一场艺术展览与文化论坛，更是一场跨越国界的心灵对话。歌声、诗句、影像与书法凝聚多国人民的和平愿景，向世界传递出理解、友谊与合作的坚定信号。
Art Inspiring Peace and Hope Forum and Exhibition Grandly Held at the United Nations
On August 11, 2025, at Conference Room 8 of the United Nations Headquarters in New York, a cultural forum and art exhibition themed “Art Inspiring Peace and Hope” was grandly held. The event was co-hosted by the UCT International Culture Development Center and the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kiribati to the United Nations in New York, and co-organized by UCT Center, World Peace & Happiness Real Estate, and other institutions. It brought together distinguished guests from the diplomatic, cultural, educational, and international media communities, as well as young students, to witness the fusion of art and peace.
The event began with students and artists from multiple countries joining voices in a peace-themed chorus. Their harmonious singing echoed throughout the UN hall, igniting a warm atmosphere. Ms. Yiling Li, Chairperson of the UCT Culture Center, officially declared the event open.
In her speech, Josephine Moote, Deputy Permanent Representative of Kiribati to the United Nations, noted that on the occasion of the UN’s 80th anniversary, the exhibition of Professor Guodong Li’s 108-meter United Nations Charter Calligraphy Scroll, the launch ceremony of the documentary *Peace Envoy Anna Chennault*, and the release of Ms. Yiling Li’s poetry collection highlight the importance of education, the responsibility of youth, and the power of art to transcend borders and foster peace. She called on everyone to jointly envision a future of understanding, peace, justice, and hope. This was followed by an introduction to Kiribati’s unique art exhibits.
Subsequently, Tithiarun Mao, Deputy Permanent Representative of Cambodia to the United Nations, emphasized in his speech that Cambodia is a peace-loving nation. He highlighted that cultural exchange helps bridge divides, foster understanding, and lay a foundation for lasting peace.
Amid enthusiastic applause, two cultural milestones were inaugurated: the launch ceremony of the documentary *Peace Envoy Anna Chennault*, and the release of Ms. Yiling Li’s poetry collection *Poems of Happiness and Peace*. The documentary, produced by Ms. Jian Zhao, was introduced by Ms. Li on behalf of Ms. Zhao and the creative team, highlighting its vision and cross-cultural value for peace. Meanwhile, the poetry collection conveyed messages of happiness and peace through warm verses. Student representatives recited the poem *Tribute to the UN Charter* and several original works from Ms. Li’s poetry collection, resonating strongly with the audience.
Sami Areikat, representative of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA/DSDG), praised the event for its significant contributions to advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, promoting cultural diversity, and fostering peace education. In the youth segment, Emmanuel Etaat from Stony Brook University and Caleb Lee from Stuyvesant High School, representing university and high school students respectively, called upon young people to actively engage in global governance and cultural exchange.
To the majestic melody of *Tribute to the United Nations Charter* composed by musician Chongjun Li, the 108-meter calligraphy scroll of the UN Charter, created by calligrapher Professor Guodong Li, was unfurled. The blend of calligraphy and music brought the atmosphere to its climax. This solemn moment marked the successful conclusion of the roundtable forum and set the prelude for the upcoming United Nations General Assembly.
Participants unanimously agreed that this was not only an art exhibition and cultural forum, but also a cross-border dialogue of the heart. Songs, poems, images, and calligraphy collectively embodied the peace aspirations of people from many nations, sending a strong message of understanding, friendship, and cooperation to the world.
